How prices are estimated
- Every estimate shows its source, fetch date, sample size (when published), and confidence — everywhere a number appears.
- All figures are labeled est. — never authoritative prices.
- Quotes older than 24 hours are badged STALE, never shown as current.
- Condition multipliers (NM ×1.0, LP ×0.85, MP ×0.7, HP ×0.5, DMG ×0.3) are heuristics, not market data.
- Graded-slab premiums are not estimated from raw quotes — graded cards show the raw-card estimate with an explicit warning.
- No invented data: if no provider returns a price, the UI shows "No price data", not a guess.

Drop & restock alerts
- The monitor is read-only: it never purchases, adds to cart, reserves, or submits retailer forms.
- Every alert is verified before it reaches you — uncorroborated signals are discarded, never shown.
- Alerts fire only on worthwhile findings: in-stock and at (or below) MSRP.
- Retailers watched directly: Target, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Costco.
- Release news comes from the official Pokémon news feed; restock signals come from community trackers (e.g. Reddit r/PokemonRestocks) — the same sources working drop monitors rely on.
- Pokémon Center is covered via its official newsletter and community signals. Sleevenine never polls pokemoncenter.com directly — their terms of use prohibit automated access (ToS updated 2025-04-24), and their bot checks block it.
- Tip: the free Pokémon Center newsletter (Early Access program) is the official channel for drop announcements.
Corrections policy
When data is wrong, it is corrected visibly — not silently edited. Report errors from the app and they are fixed with a note in the activity log, so the record shows what changed and why.
