Privacy Policy

Short version: everything you put in Sleevenine stays on your device. There is no account, no server, and no tracking.
Your data stays on your devices
Sleevenine stores your collection, scanned photos, price history, and settings in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) on the device you use. There is no account system, no sign-in, and no Sleevenine server that receives your data.
When you scan a card, the photo is processed on-device by the OCR engine. Photos are never uploaded to any server.
Third-party services
Card catalog and price estimates are fetched from third-party APIs: TCGdex (free, no key) and optionally TCG Price Lookup or PokemonPriceTracker when you paste a free API key in Settings. These providers see only the API requests your browser makes (card IDs and search terms) — subject to their own privacy policies.
Any API keys you enter stay in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to Sleevenine, because there is no Sleevenine server.
Card images are loaded from assets.tcgdex.net and may be cached by your device and its service worker.
No analytics, no ads, no tracking
Sleevenine does not run analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking. There are no cookies beyond what your browser needs for local storage.
Data portability
Your data is yours. Use the Data tab to export your full collection as CSV or a complete JSON backup, and to import them back or move them to another device.
Children
Sleevenine is not directed at children under 13, and no personal information is collected from anyone.
Unofficial fan tool
Sleevenine is an independent unofficial fan tool. Not produced, endorsed, or affiliated with Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
